Nanette Seligman

I am a painter and a potter. I mesh the two disciplines together, using my clay as canvas. My images/themes are nature based.  The porcelain pottery has highly decorated surfaces, are functional, and the plates have hangers so they can also serve as wall art. I work out of my studio in Davis, WV where the view is overlooking the beautiful Allegheny Mountains.

 

I have a couple of degrees in art and am retired from teaching visual art. I continue to enjoy giving workshops in my studio or on location. One of my joys is taking workshops from other artists, sharing ideas, talking techniques, and supporting the importance of the arts.
